OUR STORY

We are Evelyn and Yehua.  We’ve been friends forever. Though we both love fashion, it became clear, in the last few years, that we also shared a frustration with wardrobes that didn’t meet our lifestyles.

With a schedule that found her frequently taking 16 hour flights to the Far East and back, often with meetings before and after, Yehua needed to look great at both ends of the trip! At the same time, Evelyn managed a full, back-to-back schedule; client appointments after mornings at the gym, followed by early evenings of rock climbing or late dinner dates. And while both of us love to travel, we found it difficult to pack for trips with a full range of activities.

When comparing notes, we found that not only were our schedules challenging, but our wardrobes were not helping. Finding current options lacking, we partnered to create a beautiful line with performance attributes. Our aim to create clothing that supports demanding schedules–where change in activities, environments, and roles might happen quickly and often, led us to Pivotte.
